The History of The Meadows Inn
Over 25 years ago, we extended a business trip and after much coaxing from friends reluctantly stayed at our first bed and breakfast. The trip home was dominated by discussions not of the business trip but of our Bed and Breakfast experience! Our travels, business or vacation, would now include stays at local bed and breakfast inns. After our first Bed and Breakfast experience, we were convinced that at some time in the future we would open and manage our own Bed and Breakfast, in our own style. For five years we searched for the "perfect" or most suitable property. On our journey, we took a detour and spent one year in Breckenridge, Colorado, managing a 10-room luxury inn - and survived!

For 25 years of backpacking and camping in Colorado, Oregon and Washington on summer vacations, we set our sites for opening a bed and breakfast in Western Washington on the Olympic Peninsula. We discovered this property for sale in 2004 and envisioned our dream B&B. After six months of renovations, we opened the doors ready to share the great Pacific Northwest with our guests. In May 2005, we hosted the grand opening of The Meadows Inn for the community and received rave reviews for our hospitality, gourmet food, and luxury accommodations. Bed and Breakfast Business now for sale
The bed and breakfast business is available to interested parties. The bed and breakfast business cycle on the Peninsula runs from April through October. November through March consists of sporadic weekend and winter travelers. The household furniture and furnishings may also be purchased separately.
